We are working with a dynamic and innovative technology solutions provider committed to helping organizations enhance their digital environments. We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to join a growing IT team and support the implementation, management, and optimization of Microsoft 365 environments for our clients and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to migrate clients to Microsoft 365 and provide guidance on best practices for implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services, including security and compliance configurations.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams for collaboration and enterprise communication.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 environment health, conduct regular audits, and provide reports on system performance, security, and usage.
- Work with stakeholders to plan and execute updates and new feature rollouts.
- Provide user training and support on Microsoft 365 tools to ensure efficient adoption across the organization.
- Implement and enforce security policies, including data loss prevention (DLP), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Azure AD integrations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administering and configuring Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, security protocols, and compliance tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration of Microsoft 365 services.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) principles, including SSO and MFA.
- Experience with Microsoft security and compliance tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Intune, DLP).
- Understanding of Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
This role will be a hybrid position in Albany, NY, paying up to $100,000.
